357: Ham Radio fun: ARRL Field Day ’22-Antenna.


The ARRL Field Day is set for 24-25 June 2023.  Thousands of radio amateur across the U.S. and Canada are expected to participate in this large emergency communications exercise and contest.

All kinds of antennas will make their appearance, from the basic dipole to multielement yagi beams.

Most of us radio amateurs will most likely with simple rigs and even simpler antennas.

In the video, Alan (W2AEW) shows us how he operated in the 2022 edition of Field Day.  Alan's station and antenna system is simple, portable, and easy to set up and take down.
