Here's a simple triband HF Antenna you can build with a few spare parts and a roll of metallic tape.
In the video, Simon (VA7BIX) creates a portable 3-band Fan Dipole Antenna covering the 20, 17, and 15 meter Amateur Radio bands. This antenna is perfect for POTA, SOTA, and other field uses.
Depending on what you have available in your junk box, you can make this antenna for a moderate cost at home to take with you on the next "field operation."
Simon shows us how to make this simple antenna with a few basic tools and an antenna "testing" device. He also provides a list of materials needed to build this tribander.
