Magic Carpet Apartment Antenna for HF Ham Radio.

Thanks to Mike (K8MRD) for this HF apartment antenna idea.

In this video, Mike uses a Wolf River Coil, some metal screen material, a metal rod, and a small tripod to get on the air from his deed-controlled apartment.

The metal screen material acts as a Faraday Cloth, enabling a proper ground screen for the small vertical antenna.

While performance of this indoor antenna can't match that of an outdoor antenna, it does work and will get you contacts.
