Off-Center Fed Antennas

Radio Amateurs wanting to build a multi-band HF antenna may be interested in pursuing "Off-Center Fed Dipole Antennas."

In this video from Ted Edwards (W3TB), we get an excellent introduction to the theory and practical uses of this dipole antenna variant.

As designed by Ted, this dipole covers the 40m, 20m, 15m, and 10 meter Amateur Radio bands.  The antenna is easy-to-make and occupies a horizontal space of approximately 68 feet (20.726 meters).

Here are some comments from Ted (W3TB):

Ted Edwards (W3TB) gives a detailed presentation of the properties of a multi-band off-center fed dipole antenna. The antenna described is only 68 feet long, but covers the 40m, 20m, 15m, and 10m amateur radio bands. Record on 4/8/2023 during the April WCARES meeting. www.wcares.org
