The American Radio Relay League (The ARRL) is now marketing a new POTA (Parks On the Air) dual-band antenna covering the 10m and 6m Amateur Radio Bands.
This antenna is portable, easy-to-set up, and does well in the enhanced propagation given by the solar maximum of cycle 25.
In this video, ARRL staffers Steve (K5ATA) and Alex (KC1RMO), assemble, test, and operate this fascinating antenna, which combines a 10 meter Moxon antenna with a 2-element Yagi for 6 meters.
So far, the antenna is only available in the U.S.

Get on the Air with the ARRL Dual-band Momobeam 6/10 Antenna
The new ARRL Dual-band Momobeam 6/10 Antenna features two innovative antennas – a 10-meter Moxon (28 MHz) and 6-meter Yagi (50 MHz) – in one.
Now YOU can own a BEAM! This beam is designed to help radio amateurs take full advantage of the exciting opportunities for distant contacts. Let’s talk technical! Just attach a single coaxial cable to included SO-239 equipped coaxial pigtail, and you’re ready to go on two bands. The 10-meter Moxon is an effective design for this dual-band antenna, as it’s around 30% smaller than a traditional Yagi and uses no traps or other shortening techniques that reduce performance.
