Here's another great portable antenna idea from Australian radio amateur Peter Parker (VK3YE).
In this video, Peter describes "a simple vertically polarized beam" for the 15 meter Ham Radio band (21 MHz.). This antenna is suitable for both home and field use.

Beams can be heavy and bulky so are rarely used by HF portable operators. But not this one! Described is a simple vertically polarised beam for 21 MHz. With a quick to rotate wire reflector and easily-fed off-centre driven element.
