Vertical extended double zepp antenna for 2 metres (and more).

If you need a little more "punch" for your 2 meter signals, please try this vertical extended double zepp antenna from Australian radio amateur Peter Parker (VK3YE).

While the design is a bit unusual, it works remarkably well, including good performance on the 6 meter amateur radio band.

Peter does a good job of assembling this antenna and shows you how common, readily available materials can be used to make a truly outstanding VHF antenna.

Here are a few comments from Peter (VK3YE):

A very simple but very good omnidirectional vertical antenna for VHF FM simplex and repeaters. But that's not all. What is it? It's a extended double zepp antenna for 2m. And it does 6m as well. Watch to find out how easy one is to build.
