A Thirty-Foot Mast using Home Depot parts.

Radio amateurs have a wide selection of options when it comes to building a mast for HF operations.  You can order a commercial model at great expense, or you can make your own from locally available parts.

In this video, Dave Casler (KE0OG) uses a design from Stephen Kline to construct a 30-foot (9.146 meters) mast with parts from a local Home Depot store.

Here are a few comments from Dave (KE0OG):

Stephen Kline sent me plans for a thirty foot mast. So I decided to give it a try. It is not an inexpensive project. Watch to learn how this mast is made and more. Subscribe:    / davecasler  .
