Stealthy Apartment Antenna–End Fed Halfwave in the city

Thanks to Jeff Glass (KK9JEF) for this creative approach to operating from a restrictive antenna location.

Jeff uses some steel wire, a 64:1 balun, and a few other commonly available pieces to create an effective antenna for urban radio amateurs.

Here are some comments from Jeff (KK9JEF):

A low-visibility HF antenna, 3 n apartment, in the middle of the city. Impossible you say? With the right End Fed Half Wave components and some crafty attachment points, this ham radio antenna fits the bill great! A 64:1 UnUn, two support halyard setups, and some camouflaged coax cable let me put up my first proper antenna at my urban apartment QTH.
